CfD load factors by technology

What CfD projects actually generate against their contracted capacity, and what the site assumes they will generate in future.

Three distinct numbers per technology. The observed load factor is capacity-weighted across operational projects from metered output over the last three years. The assumed load factor is the published technology default, from NESO or DESNZ. The projected load factor is the hybrid the site actually uses: the trailing three-year observed figure where one exists, otherwise the technology default.

Each row also carries the project count and total contracted capacity for that technology, across non-terminated contracts only.

Technologies covered: Advanced Conversion Technology, Biomass Conversion, Dedicated Biomass, Energy from Waste, Floating Offshore Wind, Geothermal, Nuclear, Offshore Wind, Onshore Wind, Remote Island Wind, Solar PV and Tidal Stream.

These figures drive every forward column on Outputs, Strike Prices and Net Flows. Sources are listed on About.
